Some Party Invitations

Today, I'd like to share the invitations that I made
for a little "mother-daughter" party that Sage & I will be hosting over the Christmas holidays.

I used my new Pretty Pink Posh Winter Pals stamp set and paired it
with my PTI Shaker Shapes: Snow Globe dies.

I was going to make them all with the snow globes, but I was inspired by this week's
Muse Card Challenge to use the PTI: Shaker Shapes: Ornaments die to make a couple.

Here's how they turned out:

Wplus9's Get Sketchy #4

Today, I have a card to share for Wplus9's Get Sketch #4 Challenge:

I decided to use the Watercolored Anemones stamp set
to make my card:

I started by creating my background by inking a piece of white cardstock
that had been diecut using a Pretty Pink Posh stitched border die.
I stamped my sentiment (from SSS) twice -- once on the diecut and a second
time on the white background.

I coloured my large bouquet stamp using my Zig Markers and spritzed it with water
before stamping it onto white cardstock.
Then, I trimmed it out by hand.
A few PTI rainstones finish them off!

Make It Monday #232

Hey there!
We're enjoying a day off from school because the kids had their parent-teacher conferences today.
So, we decided to decorate for Christmas and put up our tree.

I just wanted to share the treat bags/tags that I made to bring to the teachers this morning.
I filled them with butter crunch.

I used my new Winter Woods stamp set, along with my PTI Tag Sale #7 die.

Here, I used the coordinating die for the chickadee and adhered it to the tag.
For the sentiment, the "just" is from Winter Woods, but the "for you" is from Fillable Frames #9.

Again, here I used the cardinal diecut and adhered it to my tag.

I stamped the blue jay in white first, then in Altenew's Ocean Waves.
Then, I masked the bird to stamp my branch.

Homemade with Love

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day with family and friends!

I was thinking of you today, and how so many people would be enjoying pie today,
so I made using Reverse Confetti's  Easy As Pie.

I started with some Studio Calico patterned paper for my background.
I diecut the tag from Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts
and stamped my sentiment from Easy As Pie.

I diecut my Easy As Pie Confetti Cuts from some coordinating patterned paper
and from some vintage cream cardstock that I blended with some classic kraft ink.

And remember:

Happy shopping!

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop

It's the 25th, which means that there is only one month left until Christmas!
What???
How crazy is that?

It also means that today is the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. :)

This month's challenge is this fabulous inspirational photo:

I just love it!
It's so clean and modern and the colours are fabulous!
So, for my card, I decided to go with clean & modern using the colours in the photo:

I stamped my white panel using a Brushed Off stamp in Hawaiian Shores,
Soft Stone, Simply Chartreuse and Aqua Mist.
I diecut the leaves from Songbirds and the Christmas die from Christmas Cheer
from white cardstock and adhered them over the stamped images.

I heat embossed the "blessings" from the Etched Easter Eggs stamp set in white.
A few enamel dots finish it off.

and my water brush pen.

I stamped my sentiment (from SSS's Congratulations stamp set)

Fusion: Warm Welcome

Today, I have a card to share for the latest Fusion Challenge: Warm Welcome:

I love the flowers with the white pumpkins and took my inspiration from there,
as well as from this card by Betsy Veldman.

I decided to make a sympathy card for a friend who recently lost her mom.

I cut out my pumpkin by hand and inked the edges with Classic Kraft ink.
I diecut my Twig Wreath wreath and flowers and stamped them in orange
and coral.

I stamped the sentiment (from Reverse Confetti's Lots to Say stamp set.)

Four cards to share

Today, I have two cards to share for the

I wanted to make a couple of cards for Sage & Jonah
using my new Cat-itude stamp set.

This one is for Jonah:

And this one is for Sage:

I stamped the cat and sentiment in black and coloured it in
using some dark grey ink pressed onto my acrylic block with some water
and a paintbrush.
I used the same technique to colour the grass.
I coloured the collar using a Zig Clean Colour Brush marker.

And, I also made a card for Austin:

I blended some Altenew Dark Chocolate ink onto some white cardstock
I diecut it with the Soda Pop dies.
I diecut the banner using a PTI KIS: frame die
and stamped the sentiment from Soda Pop.

I'm linking this up to
And I also have a card to share that I made for this week's Muse Challenge:

I was inspired by the design, with all of the white, a little blue,
the leaves on the panel and the scored white lines.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Foxy -- Take Two

Today, I have another card to share that I made using the current
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Foxy:

modcloth.com

Jonah has a very nice couple on his paper route who often leave him treats/tips.
I decided to make a fall-themed card with a fox for him to give them as a thank you card.

I diecut my PTI Mighty Oak cover plate from a piece of thin white
cardstock and used it as a stencil to create my card.
I layered the stencil over some watercolour paper and, with a paintbrush,
water and ink pressed onto my acrylic block, I painted my tree.

I stamped my fox (from Mama Elephant's Three Amigos) onto my card
and onto a piece of vintage cream cardstock.
I painted him in using some Terracotta Tile ink pressed onto my acylic block
and fussy cut him out by hand, before adhering him onto my card.

Remember, there's still time to play along with this
 Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.
