With the loss of my old computer, I lost a few things... my versions of Word & Picture it Publishing (that I bought in 2001), my list of favourite websites/blogs that I visit and my list of emails.
So, if we have emailed each other in the past, would you mind terribly leaving your email link in my comments or sending me an email? I'd really appreciate it!

Project 366, week 17
Here are my photos for April 22 to 28th:
Tuesday, April 22nd: Sage, playing with the water station at Stay & Play.
Wednesday, April 23rd: Sage, reading at the library, while she waited for the stories to start. Love those braids!
Thursday, April 24th: We saw this little guy taking shelter from the storm on our neighbour's shed. I took this one through my boys' bedroom window.
Friday, April 25th: Sage following Jonah and his classmates to the library. Doesn't she blend in well? ;)
Saturday, April 27th: Sage, helping me bake cookie dough. I like the reflection I caught in the stainless steel bowl.
Sunday, April 27th: Sage, drawing with chalk on the sidewalk in front of our house.
(Okay, now that I've uploaded these photos, I realize that I'm a little heavy on photos of Sage this week. Good thing that Monday's photo is of Jonah!)
Monday, April 28th: Jonah, displaying the adorable frog puppet that he made at school. I love this one-- it's my favourite for the week.
Which one do you like best?

Project 366, week 16
Here are my photos from two weeks ago. I debated on whether or not to post all fourteen in one post, but thought that might be a bit long...
Tuesday, April 15th: Austin and his classmates at the Morden Festival of the Arts where the grade 3 & 4 voluntary choir performed in the afternoon.
Wednesday, April 16th: The voluntary choir performed at the Legislative Building in Winnipeg. (Austin's on the far left in the second row from the front.)
Thursday, April 17th: Volunteering in Jonah's kindergarten class.
Friday, April 18th: Sage, holding a kitten at the Spring Carnival at our church.
Saturday, April 19th: My friend, Susan and her daughter, Abbie. Aren't they beautiful?
Sunday, April 20th: We had fun playing around with the anniversary gift I gave Cameron-- a new tripod.
Monday, April 21st: Having fun with play-dough at Anita's.
Thanks for looking! Check back soon for Week 17.
And a very happy birthday to my big brother today! Looking forward to seeing you in July!! :)
(The card is in the mail! ;) )

I'm back!
Okay, I picked up my new computer this morning, got it up and running this afternoon. :)
It's so fast compared to our old one-- loving this!
I still need to upload some programs and transfer some data. Austin's home from school now, though and I told him that if he practiced his piano, he could play on the new computer. (He was going through as bad of withdrawl as I was!) So, his practicing is done and now it's his turn.
I'll be back later. (I'm thinking early bedtime for the kids tonight. ;) )

Still here, sort of
Just a head's up: I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (although it feels a little like it ;) ).
I've just been computer-less for the last week. Ours died on Sunday. We've purchased a new one and are anxiously awaiting its arrival, which will hopefully be in the coming week.
(It's crazy how much being on the computer has become a part of my day. I've felt a little lost this past week, knowing I can't just hop online whenever I want. On the upside, I'm getting lots done, including seventeen scrapbooking layouts in the last week!)

Project 366, week 15
Here are my photos for each day of the past week:
Tuesday, April 8th: We went to our church in the evening and played floor hockey "as a family" (this was Jonah's request. ;) )
Wednesday, April 9th: At the preschool program at the library, Sage asked if she could hold this baby. (Since then, she's been talking a lot about becoming a babysitter!)
Thursday, April 10th: We went for a walk in the evening with friends and stopped at the little park on Nelson Street. This is Austin in mid-jump off the swing.
Friday, April 11th: We had a family sleepover in the living room. I know this photo is a little blurry, but I love it! The kids were laughing together-- it was just so cute!
Saturday, April 12th: Super Scrap Day at My Scrap Shoppe.
Sunday, April 13th: We went to our friends, Marlo & Leon's, for lunch. We spent the afternoon playing Settlers of Catan. Marlo won both games.
Monday, April 14th: The morning glory plants that Cameron and the kids planted a week and a half ago.
Thanks for looking!

SSD report
Well, I had a blast on Saturday at MSS's Super Scrap Day (SSD) on Saturday! Twelve hours of scrapbooking, visiting, eating, supply-shopping (shh, don't tell Cam ;) ) -- so energizing to be around other women who enjoy this hobby as much as I do!
And the day was productive, too! I got six 12x12 layouts done, with which I was very pleased. Here are the first two that I made that day:
This first one pretty much took me all morning. I used new Jenni Bowlen patterned paper and cut out the red butterflies by hand. The blue butterfly is American Craft chipboard (isn't it cute?) as are the letters.

Mostly Making Memories papers for this one, as well as Heidi Swapp chipboard letters and Basic Grey buttons.
I'll post more throughout the week.

Score!
My husband stopped by at our house this afternoon and said some beautiful words to me:
"There's a garage sale going on at the United church."
Yes!
I'm not much of a thrift store or MCC shopper, but I love garage sales-- both attending them and having them. And I love that the arrival of spring means that the garages sales will start again.
Our score this afternoon:
A pretty blue bowl.
5 Martha Stewart Living magazines (all from 2007).
A Rescue Heroes alligator names Glades.
A small doll for Sage.

Anticipation
I like to plan things.
I like to anticipate events.
I like having things to look forward to.
Right now, I'm looking forward to my friend, Darlene and her daughter coming over for supper tonight. Then, we're planning on taking a walk together, with four children. (Should be interesting, but I know we'll have fun visiting.)
I'm looking forward to getting together with my friend, Val, tomorrow morning. Drinking hot chocolate, visiting, tossing around some ideas, planning some SS lessons. Always fun when we get together.
And, I'm looking forward to Super Scrap Day at MSS on Saturday. From 9am to 9pm. Yes, that's right, twelve hours of scrapbooking. Sitting with Susan and Anita and other friends I've met online. Cannot wait.
It's so nice to have stuff to look forward to.

Project 366, week 14
Here are the photos that I took during Spring Break:
Tuesday, April 1: Sage and her friend, Abbie, running down the sidewalk together, holding hands. I'm not sure why the photo went so light, but these two looked so very cute, I still decided to choose this photo.
Wednesday, April 2: I signed Sage up for a 6 week reading program at the library. They listened to stories, did some finger rhymes and made a craft. For a three year old, it just doesn't get much better than that. ;) Sage is in blue and she's sitting beside her friend, Claire.
Thursday, April 3: My favourite trio in our van while we waited for it to be filled with gas, before beginning our trip to Wpg to go and "have a sleepover" at my mom's.
Friday, April 4th: Jonah, going down the slide, at Boni-Vital pool. (I love how he's plugging his nose!)
Saturday, April 5th: Sage, holding the adorable wooded whistle that Grandma Davies brought back for her from Portugal.
Sunday, April 6th: With the snow gone (finally-- although we did have a reoccurance on Tuesday), we pulled out the bikes and went for several bike rides over Spring Break. This is on our way to the park to meet some friends.
Monday, April 7th: I spent most of the day cleaning the main level of my house, going through closets, getting rid of stuff, purging, reorganizing, etc. This is the shelving unit in my boys' room which I bought at jysk 7 1/2 years ago. I have four of these-- one in my boys room and three in my basement (of which one is completely dedicated to my scrapbooking supplies. :) )
Thanks for looking!

These are a few of my favourite things...
Our DT theme this month at My Scrap Shoppe is "favourites", which I loved. So much so that I decided to create layouts for each of my kids with it:
And, it also happened to coincide with the mini-book that I made in January as the craft for our women's retreat:
