A little rainy day crafting

Well, it's been raining here since Friday. So, yesterday, Sage & I decided to make some cards using this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: Paper-Piecing.

Now, I need to say that because I don't colour, I don't have a lot of stamps that work well for paper-piecing. I have the new PTI Fox set, Friends Til the End and Tremendous Treats: Birthday.

So, Sage chose the fox set, along with some October Afternoon and Crate Paper patterned paper.

I helped her a little (she was getting frustrated with the cutting. I kept saying: "some people find cutting relaxing," but she was having a hard time believing it! LOL! She was happy with the end result, but didn't want to start a second card. ;)

And, I chose Friends Til the End. I used some My Mind's Eye patterned paper, a TBF #12 stamp and my Heart Border die. I also used my Beautiful Blooms II #2 die & Lovely Layers die to diecut some PTI felt. I finished it off with a raspberry fizz button and PTI twine.

I'm also linking my card up for this week's challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog: Flower Power.

Thanks for looking!
