Four Graduation Cards

Today, I have four graduation cards to share that I made for
The Card Concept #37: The Butterfly Effect
CAS(E) This Sketch #127 designed by Sam Simpson:

Here are my cards, which are Clean & Layered...

Four Graduation Cards Leigh Penner @liegh148 #cards

I started by smooshing my watercolour backgrounds using
Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Ruby Red and Warm Sunshine inks.
Then, from my white linen cardstock, I diecut the squares using a Pretty Pink Posh die.
I also diecut the Life is Beautiful butterfly (from PTI) from the white linen cardstock
and the Wet Paint Cuts III word die from black cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment using PTI's KIS: Graduation stamp set.

I was a little random with my smooshing -- I actually did a whole
9x12" sheet and then cut it down to four cards.

Here are the other ones:

Remember you, still have time to make something using this sketch --
the tinkliest at CAS(E) this Sketch closes at 9amCST tomorrow (Thursday, June 18th).

By the way, I'm also linking this up to this week's
My favourite technique is smooshing.

Thanks for looking!

This is a fantastic card, Leigh! I totally LOVE the smooshed background and the idea of making a larger sheet to cut into several cards. These would make a beautiful set!
