Well, today I'm off to a Taekwondo patterns seminar.
Did you know that patterns are my favourite part of taekwondo?
Well, patterns and board breaking. ;)
Before I go, I just wanted to share the card that I made for the Muse Card Challenge #150,
which was to be inspired by this card by Jenni Murray:
Isn't it beautiful?
Here's my card:
I started by inking some soft pink ink onto a strip of cardstock,
which I stamped overtop using PTI's Text Style in soft stone.
Over this strip, I layered another piece of white cardstock, which I stamped with PTI's Choose Joy.
I stamped the apple blossoms onto another piece of white cardstock,
coloured it with some ink pressed onto an acrylic block, some water and a paintbrush
and then fussy-cut it out by hand.
A few PTI rainstones finish it off.

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely breathtaking! I have many text type of stamps but forget to use them. I love the soft water coloring too. I am on the lookout for more challenges I can participate in to encourage me to blog more and build up my card stash. I hadn't heard of the Muse challenge before and it looks quite interesting. So thank not only for the inspiration but for introducing me to a new challenge site!
