Countdown to Confetti: Garden Bunch & Friend Like You

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 1 of the February Release for Reverse Confetti

That's right!
Reverse Confetti is doing monthly releases now, starting with Countdown to Confetti posts
on the 5th of each month and the release blog hop on the 8th.

This month is a fun release, with four new stamps sets & seven new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we are introducing two fabulous new sets:
a floral two & three step stamp set called Garden Bunch
and sentiment stamp set perfect for making cards for friends called Friend Like You.
There are also some very fun Confetti Cuts that you can use with these sets!

I combined both of these stamp sets, as well as the coordinating Confetti Cuts for Garden Bunch,
and a super fun new set of dies called Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts to make my card.

I started by stamping my flowers from Garden Bunch on their coordinating Confetti Cuts
to make my bouquet.
For the leaves, I stamped one of the flowers several times in two shades of green and cut
them apart by hand to make some leaves.
I diecut the Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts from some American Crafts patterned paper
and wrapped it together, using some Solid Natural Twine to attach the tiny tag,
which is also from Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts.

I used the smooshing technique on a strip of watercolour paper for my border
and stamped the sentiment from Friends Like You.

For my next card, I used Garden Bunch & Friends Like You,
as well as a fabulous new set of dies called Edgers Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the Garden Bunch blooms on their coordinating Confetti Cuts in pink
and one a piece of spring moss cardstock in greens.
I used most of the stamped panel at the bottom of my card,
but also diecut some Leafy Confetti Cuts from the stamped panel to add to my blooms.

I adhered the flowers to my card front and stamped my sentiment from Friend Like You.
Then, I diecut my white cardstock using one of the new Edgers Confetti Cuts.
I love how this set of dies offers so many different options!

  55. You create magic with everything you touch, but based on all these 'exclusively Leigh gallery' strolls I do (see, there is a 'perk' in late commenting *grin*), I see, clearly, that you have a special knack for flowers...colours, arrangements, pairings...the works! I think you'd be awesome working as a floral designer (just a thought...). Love these...
    Hugs~c
