Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Icicles

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

kidscraftroom.com

The LEAD of the At Home Challenge will be invited as a
Guest Designer in a future challenge!
Please visit the Curtain Call Challenge Blog for all the challenge info and deadline.

I used one of my favourite stamps to make my card --
the leaves image from PTI's Songbirds.

I started by stamping the leaves in versamark along the edge of my card
and heat embossed them in silver.
Then, I blended Altenew Persian Blue ink over top with my blending tool
and added some PTI Indigo ink droplets mixed with water.

I stamped the sentiment (from PTI's Spring Woods)
in Altenew Jet Black.

Make sure you visit each of the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge
 designers' blogs for more inspiration!
Thanks for looking!

  2. Beautiful design! I like the inking on the right side, I often forget that side to design with!

  3. Gorgeous interpretation of the inspiration photo! Silver and blue = striking combination! As Karen mentioned, I, too, often forget to design on the 'right' side. Thanks for the incentive to do so!

  5. This is a beautiful card, Leigh. I always love how you perfectly blend your colors for a peaceful background to allow the recipient to "hear" the sentiment. Very, very nice.

  7. Truly stunning. The leaves are gorgeous (and made me look back at Songbirds and wonder why I didn't get it!). Beautifully backed by that textured blue edge.
