Monday Mood Board #26

Today, I have a card to share that I made for Monday Mood Board #26,
which was to use this photo as inspiration for a card.

I was inspired by the pink & gold and the flowers.
So, I pulled out one of my very favourite stamp sets -- Fresh Cut Florals --
and made this card:

I impressed my sweet blush background using my PTI Simple Stripes impression plate.
I die cut my banner and stamped it using Wplus9's Basic Banners.
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold.
Then, I had lots of fun stamping my flowers, berries & leaves.
On my kraft leaves, I added the detail lines with versa mark
and heat embossed these in gold.
A few gold Pretty Pink Posh sequins finish it off.

I'm also linking up my card to the Wplus9 Birthday Celebration: Week 1 Challenge, which is "Comfort Zone", because I used my favourite Wplus9 stamps (Fresh Cut Florals), in my favourite style ("pretty CAS") and one of my go-to colour combinations.
No wonder I like this card so much... ;)

Just a reminder

I just wanted to remind everyone about the give-away that Paulina Nakamura of Pretty Pink Posh
is having as a part of her Grand Opening & Blog Hop.

I have another card to share that I made with Paulina's Classic Christmas Flat sequins.
Truth be told, I actually made it for tomorrow's 10 Minute Craft Dash,
but failed miserably on my time. ;)

I diecut the mistletoe from white cardstock using my Wplus9 Under the Mistletoe dies.
Then, before removing them from the cardstock, I coloured them in using some Faber Castell markers.
I diecut some other sprigs from some Simply Chartreuse cardstock.
I stamped my sentiment (from Wplus9's Merry & Bright) onto my cardstock before impressing it with my PTI Woodgrain Impression Plate.
I added some twine and some sequins to finish it off.

I'm linking this card up to the Monday Mood Board #24 at Wplus9....

Happy Birthday, Tracey!

Today, I'm very excited to be participating in a Linky Party for my friend, Tracey McNeeley.
I've been a fan of Tracey's for a while now, but we became friends while designing
for Fresh Squeezed Stamps together.

I was inspired by the the latest Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge to created my card....

... as well as by Wplus9's Monday Mood Board #22.

And here's my card that I made, combining some stamps from Papertrey Ink and Wplus9.

I stamped my images and sentiments (from PTI's Wreath for all Seasons) on my tag
and then ran it through my die cutting machine with my woodgrain impression plate
(as I did with the Little Yellow Bicycle patterned paper background.)
I then added some die cut flower/berry images from Wplus9's Fresh Cut Florals and
a couple of tiny feathers heat embossed on vellum from Wplus9's Fanciful Feathers.
A button and some twine finish it off.

So, happy birthday to you, Tracey-- I hope you have a fantastic day and a wonderful year ahead!

I'm also linking this card up to this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes.

Monday Mood Board #21

Well, my crop was very fun! I got five cards made, and eight tags, which made me happy.
It's so fun to stamp with my friends!

I want to share one of the cards that I made on Saturday at my crop.

And here's my card.

I kept this one fairly CAS, by using WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals (I love this set!)
and the new Simon Says Stamp thanks die and stamp set.

Three cards

A friend of mine wanted to buy some cards off of me and requested
2 birthday, 2 thank you, 2 thinking of you and 2 sympathy cards.
I have a lot of birthday and thank you cards on hand, but was low on thinking of you
and I didn't have any sympathy cards.
So here's what I made...

For my first card, I used a Crate Paper die cut and patterned paper,
which I diecut using my Tag Sale #7 die.
I impressed the background with PTI's Simple Stripes impression plate
and added some twine and buttons.
The sentiment is from PTI's Botanical Silhouettes.

My next card uses the same tag die, impression plate and sentiment.
However, this time, I used some Wplus9 Fresh Cut Florals stamps and dies to embellish it.

And for my third card, I was inspired by the Wplus9 Monday Mood Board #19 to make my card.

Once again, I used Tag Sale #7 & Wplus9's Fresh Cut Florals.
I also used some Crate Paper patterned paper.

Exciting news!

I'm so excited to share the news.....

I was thrilled to get a an email from Chrissy Larson inviting me to join their design team! I've always loved using sketches for scrapbooking and card making, so I'm really looking forward to designing for CAS(E) this Sketch. Click here to see the other designers who've been added to the team.

Even though I don't officially start until next Thursday, Sept. 5th, I decided to make a card with this week's sketch-- Sketch #43 to share with you....

Here's my card:

I was inspired by the Wplus9 Monday Mood Board #19 to make my card.

I used Papertrey Ink card stock and ink, as well as two PTI stamps-- the flourish under my sentiment is from Modern Wood Mats and the red chevron stripe is from Live Love Life. I also used my new Notched Banner die to diecut my banners. The jar stamp and die is from Lawn Fawn and the floral stamps & dies and sentiment stamp are from Wplus9's Fresh Cut Florals.

I'm also linking up this card to Fusion #16:

.... and to this week's Simons Says Challenge: Anything Goes.
