I decided to make some "happy spring" cards for a few good friends this week. The weather has been so gorgeous-- above seasonal for use, for sure! For my card, I used both this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: Coloured Kissing and Vannessa's Papertrey Princess Challenge: to include spring colours on my card.
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock (rustic cream, simply chartreuse), stamps (beautiful butterflies, pretty peonies, tag sale #2) & dies (beautiful butterflies). The patterned paper is Crate Paper (floral) & My Mind's Eye (pink polka-dot).
Has spring arrived where you are?
Thanks for looking!
This is gorgeous Leigh - perfect Spring colours! I have that new Beautiful Butterflies set in my parcel which should be arriving any day now! Can't wait to use it - looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung! So beautiful. I love the butterfly over the frame. Clever. Enjoy that beautiful weather.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is outstanding. Great card!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the colors, spring colors are always my favorite. Sadly no spring here...in fact we are getting buried under a foot or more of snow :( It's good for the moisture though. We had to come home a day early from our trip to miss the terrible driving conditons, we made it in time though. I can't wait for spring.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful springy card - love it!!
ReplyDeletespring came yesterday, and it was glorious! I hope it stays :) Love your card and the cheery papers you used.
ReplyDeleteI love this card! I really like papercrafts magazine. Congrats on the entry! I am new to this blogging, but maybe I will get the hang of it.
