Well, the tournament went well yesterday! I was so proud of how well my kids competed, what great attitudes they had (when only one of us brought home a medal) and how good they were (behaviour-wise) throughout a very long day! I'm hoping to share some photos soon...
I just wanted to share a couple of things today.... First up is the April Pages with Papertrey Sketch:
And here's the layout I made with it:
I used Echo Park patterned paper, Papertrey Ink cardstock (kraft, harvest gold), stamps (movers & shakers sentiments, Simply You), button, twine dies (Edgers #5, Block Alphabet numbers). I created this layout using Lesson #10 from the Scrapbooker's Stamping Workshop, to add a button to a stamped image.
Here are a few close-up shots:
And I also wanted to share the card that I made using this week's Make It Monday at PTI, where the challenge was to create a flower using non-flower dies.
I used PTI cardstock (rustic cream), stamps (rosie posie, dress form sentiments) & dies (heart, tag sale #3). I used Crate and Echo Park patterned paper and a Basic Grey fabric brad.
Thanks for looking!
beautiful lo and great MIM entry!

ReplyDeleteLove this...especially the folder! So cute. Thanks so much for doing these sketches! Although it took me a month to make time to do it, your sketches are a huge motivation for me to get some scrapbook pages done.
