Today, I'm sharing a layout and a card that I made using the fourth sketch from Sketchbook #4. I was a little stumped at first, as I'm not a huge fan of circles on layout (I like my straight edges!) But, then, I remembered the April Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog: to use hexagons on your project. From there, my layout came together pretty quickly...
I used My Mind's Eye patterned paper & decorative brads. I also used Papertrey Ink block alphabet dies and smokey shadow cardstock to make my title.
Here's a close-up of my journaling:
For my card, I was inspired by the placement of the circles and decided to selectively ink the large image from my Lace Bouquet stamp set:
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock (soft stone, ocean tides) & stamps (lace bouquet & Think Big Favourites #5), buttons & twine.
Thanks for looking!
