... the water bottle tags that I posted on Sunday, I decided to make some cards using the same elements.
I also created these cards for the Movement Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
Here are the cards I made, using PTI cardstock (classic kraft, vintage cream), stamps (leaf prints, counting my blessings), patterned paper (dearest jane), impression plate (woodgrain) and dies (counting my blessings).
At first, I thought I'd just impress my word dies to create my sentiment, but I didn't end up liking that effect too much, so I added the diecut patterned paper into the impression, which made me much happier!
Here are my cards:
Thanks for looking!
I've been skulking around your blog for awhile now, Leigh...your creations are always so amazing. I'm simultaneously inspired and shamed, because I can't for the life of me figure out how you do it all! I certainly can't manage to fit in half the things in my life that you seem to do so effortlessly...and I don't even have a full time job! Wow, I wish you'd share your secret! ;) Anyway, just wanted to say how much I enjoy looking at your beautiful art. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really neat effect, Leigh. I'd never think of impressing the letters and then adding a die cut on top, but I think it looks awesome!!
ReplyDeleteLeigh,
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. I loved them as tags, but think there are just as great (if not better) as cards.
All of them are so pretty. I love the colors you used on the leaves. And the diecut words are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards inspired by your water bottle tags. Those tags were so great. I made a tag for a party we are going to next week, inspired by them. Now, to just take a picture and post--so stay tuned. You are the queen of word die cuts, in my book.
ReplyDeleteLove these!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards. So beautiful.-Irma
ReplyDeleteHey Leigh! Thanks for linking this up to the Movement Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
