Here are the third & fourth cards that I made for a card set. Both are for the October Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog, which is to incorporate stamping into my project & using this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: The Inside Edition.
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock (vintage cream), stamps (think big favourites #3), buttons, twine and dies (mat stack #4, layerz mat stack #4). The patterned paper, baker's twine and decorative brads are My Mind's Eye.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from PTI's Shutterbug Special.
And here is the the fourth card:
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock (soft stone), stamps (think big favourites #5), button twine, buttons and dies (heart border). The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye.
On the inside of my card, I stamped a sentiment from PTI's Beautiful Butterflies.
Thanks for looking!
I've loved this whole series, Leigh, and I'm sorry I haven't commented until now. Absolutely, overhwhelmingly, beautiful, all of them! I bet your friend, Marlo, loves them all too! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, Leigh. I really like how you have the sentiment in a vertical position on your second card. I should do that more often. And your stitching? Impeccable! You need to give lessons. Mine is always so sloppy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning set of cards! That paper is gorgeous and you know exactly how to make gorgeous things with it! Great job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, finished perfectly! I have this paper in the 6x6 pad, but really loving the bigger flowers on your cards.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Leigh! I love the patterned papers you used, so sweet! - Irma
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards - inside and out.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, Leigh. I'm swooning over the second one. What a lucky friend to get a card set like this.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the patterned paper are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat delights! First and foremost that bit of floral paper is just deeeevine! What is further so impressive about your creations is how wonderfully well you have paired the fonts of the sentiments. They really go well together. I guess that all comes with your expert eye. Lovely work once again.

ReplyDeleteThe Think Big Favorites are perfect for these cards with larger designs. The entire set is beautiful on the inside as well. (I have to view that video this WE)
ReplyDeleteVERY BEAUTIFUL SCRAPBISES
ReplyDeletePRETTY
Great cards Leigh. I need to put more sentiments on the inside of my cards.
