For this week's Five for Friday, I thought I'd share five gift tags that I made this week.
#1: I had a kraft snowflake diecut left over from this layout, so I thought I'd add it to a tag. It was diecut and stamped with PTI's Snowflake Medley. I layered it on a PTI tag sale 7 die cut and added a stamped sentiment (from LLH:Holidays, heat embossed with white embossing powder), a button and some baker's twine.
2. This next tag (as well as the three that follow) are all made using this week`s Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: Patchwork Die-Cuts. I decided to use some cardstock that would coordinate with my wrapping paper and patchwork another tag sale 7 diecut. I stamped the assembled tag with Versamark and PTI's BB:Herringbone, then I diecut a PTI Seeing Stars die from the centre, backed it on another tag and added another stamped sentiment (from PTI's Fillable Frames #9) heat embossed with white embossing powder, button and baker's twine.
3. I used the patchwork diecut left over from #2 to make another tag (tag sale #5). I stamped the same sentiment, but this time in Hawaiian Shores ink.
4. Since I had left over pieces from tag #2, I made another one, this time diecutting a Christmas Poinsettia die and running the tag through my Big Shot with PTI's Simple Stripes IP. I used the same sentiment as tags #2 & #3 and added three little buttons.
5. And for this tag, (you guessed it!), I used the left over poinsettia diecut. I stamped some boughs from PTI's bells and boughs and a sentiment from PTI's Holiday Tags 2012. I layered another poinsettia diecut out of vellum and another button.
I think I'm pretty much done my Christmas crafting, except for the placecard craft I have in mind for the supper I'm hosting on the 26th. How about you?
Thanks for looking!
