I also wanted to share some photos of my new craft area, which I got all put together yesterday afternoon.
My craft area is in a corner of our basement. Here's the before photo.
So, here's the after...
We painted the back wall walls Serendipity-- it's fabulous-- it's just like PTI's Aqua Mist! We bought two Expedit cabinets at IKEA on Friday and Sage & Austin helped me put them together yesterday afternoon. And we added another table, that will be Sage's (or any friend who wants to join me!) space.

I'm so glad that I got this done just at the beginning of summer! I'm looking forward to cooling off in my basement and making layouts and cards (& am super happy to be using some new Fresh Squeezed Stamps to do so!)

ReplyDeleteLeigh, this is just a FABULOUS space!!! Such a fresh clean organized space that I'm just drooling over....can I come for a visit? I know my Payton would have fun with Sage! (Payton's middle name is Sage) I seriously need to use some of your tips here and purge, organize, and enjoy. Like you, I have my space set up similarly with my back to a great amount of my "stuff" where I can just turn around and grab. This type of layout works for me and I love it but it needs overhauled! Some day I will take before pics and after when I redo it! (heaven knows when that will be though...LOL)

This is such a great space! Love your organization and the colors you chose too! We went to Ikea for the first time this week on vacation to Denver and I can't wait until there is one only 3 hours away because I have my eye on some organization for my scrap area. I LOVE how you added a table and shelves for your daughter! That is the best! :)
