Case Study #171

I am so excited to be guest designing for Case Study Challenge this month!

This month, we're changing things up a bit, so there isn't a Muse as such.
Instead, we're honouring Cath from the Moxie Fab World.
In case you missed the news, Cath stepped down from her position in the Paper Crafts magazine, as well as the host for MFW. December is a tribute to her influence on the paper crafting community,
and we chose four of her past posts that she shared within the "Oh My Moxie Fab!" column.

Here's this week's inspiration photo:

I loved how the design of this photo filled in the outline of the bird.
So, at first, I thought I'd use a die to diecut some patterned paper.
But after I chose my patterned paper, I decided I wanted to showcase a little more of it,
so I decided to use the negative diecut from my woodgrain cardstock instead.

I used my Simon Says Hello die for my sentiment.
The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. I fussy cut two of the flowers from the patterned paper to add to the front of my card, along with some Papertrey Ink twine and buttons.

Be sure to visit the Case Study Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team created for the challenge.

Thanks for looking!
