Hey there!
Sorry things have been been a little quiet around here lately....
We've had family visiting from the U.S. and have been busy with a few things
(including a few projects that I can't share quite yet. ;) )
However, this afternoon, I finished up a few projects and
we had nothing up, so I decided to make a card for a new challenge blog:
This is the inspiration photo they posted for their first challenge:
I was totally inspired by this gorgeous photo
and decided to pull out my PTI City Scene stamps to make my card.
I started with a piece of sweet blush card stock.
I used some watercolour paints to add some grey to the top third of my panel.
Then, I started stamping my buildings along the bottom and moved up
to stamp the next levels while doing some masking.
I added a little cream embossing powder to a couple of buildings.
I stamped my sentiment in black (from PTI's Happy Trails)
We're suppose to share what style we used.... I think I used Clean & Simple,
but I have to say, I didn't find this card very simple to make. ;)
Thanks for looking!
So glad to see you here! I just love all your cards, as you know, but this really fit the challenge! The buildings are perfect, and I like the way you changed the colors among the pieces, added the sequins and put the sentiment across the top. Great card!
