Today, the Confetti Crew and a few other “friends” will surely brighten your day
with their fabulous cards and projects.
We hope you will take some time and be inspired as you hop along with us right now!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog,
and you should have made it here from my friend, Amy Kolling's blog.
It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.
We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti's amazing stamp sets!
For today's blog hop, I used Reverse Confetti's Sweet Thing stamp set and
Here's my card:
I started with a super sweet sheet of Crate Paper patterned paper.
I used it as my background and added a scallop strip at the bottom, which I die cut using Reverse Confetti's Double Edge Scallop Border die.
I stitched these in place and started working on my tag.
I wanted to add a tag to my card, but also wanted a scalloped edge.
Here's how I did it.
I ran my Love Note die through my die cutting machine, but only halfway through.
Then, I ran it through a second time, from the top first, with the larger tag from Tag Me.
I had to trim off the sides a little, but was pretty pleased with the effect!
I stamped my sentiments from Sweet Thing in two coordinating colours and
then decided to make a popsicle embellishment to finish it off.
Can you guess which die I used?
It's the Double Edge Scallop Border die!
I ran a piece of yellow card stock through with it, but only so it cut the large scallop border at the bottom. Then, using my paper trimmer, I trimmed out the rest to get a popsicle shape.
I completely covered this with glossy accents to give it an icy shine.
For the stick, I repeated the process, but this time used the smaller scallop border.
Pretty sweet, eh?
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today.
Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!
Now it’s time to hop on over to Amy Sheffer's blog.
