Hey there, Reverse Confetti fans!
It’s the 8th of the month and time for another sizzling Blog Hop
from the Confetti Crew and a few other friends.
Summer is quickly approaching, so this is a good excuse to stay inside out of the heat
and recharge your batteries with us!
We’ll give you a minute to grab a glass of lemonade as we hop along together
and share some crafty goodness with you!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog,
and you should have made it here from my friend, Kathy Martin's blog.
It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.
We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti's amazing stamp sets!
For today's blog hop, we were challenged to make an ABC/T project,
which stands for "Anything But a Card or Tag".
My first thought was to create a layout, but then I decided to use
Reverse Confetti's Sweet Thing & Let's Chill stamp sets make a title page
for the Summer Pocket album I'm planning on making this summer.
I started with the kraft divider that came with the album and used
my Tim Holtz White dauber to add some streaks to give it a white-washed look.
On a strip of white card stock, I stamped my Let's Chill popsicles,
first in Versamark, then in two different colours of ink for each one and the rock & roll technique.
Then, I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder, so they're nice and shiny!
I did a little masking & I diecut/fussy cut out two of the popsicles by hand
and adhered them over top.
The pink was adhered with regular adhesive and the aqua with dimensional adhesive.
I sewed the strip onto my divider with a zig zag stitch.
I stamped the "sweet" twice and added some Fancy Pants letter stickers for "summer."
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today.
Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!
Now it’s time to hop on over to Amy Sheffer's blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers
