Hi there! Today I have some fun Christmas cards that I made using
I find when I'm making Christmas cards that if I come up with a design I like,
I try to stick with it to make several cards, but I like to change them up so they're not all the same.
Usually I make two or three with the same design, but once I started playing with my Jolly Good products, I found I just couldn't stop at three.... and so I made six! LOL!
I started with some Jolly Good patterned paper & the illustration stickers sheet.
I paired each card with my Papertrey Ink rectangular dies (from the Sprinkles Make It Market kit).
I trimmed my Christmas Eve patterned paper to 4.25x5.5" to make my card base.
I die-cut my rectangles from card stock and adhered them to my card.
I added the adorable sticker from the illustration stickers sheet.
I stamped my sentiment (using the Mini Illustrated Clear Stamps) onto a die-cut banner
(PTI's double-ended banner die), scored the ends and adhered it to my card.
For my next card, I followed the same steps, but here, I changed up the patterned paper (I used Deck the Halls) and used the adorable reindeer sticker instead.
This time, I stamped my sentiment using the Mini Countdown Clear Stamps.
For my next card, I used another sticker, but instead of stamping, I used the Jolly Good Alpha Stickers along with a Mini Sticker Tag for my sentiment.
After adhering my alpha stickers, I trimmed the one end off of the tag sticker and adhered it, overlapping slightly onto my word.
The patterned paper for this card is from the 6x6 Jolly Good paper pad.
Then, I just had to use the adorable Santa sticker.....
Once again, I used the Christmas Eve patterned paper, but this time I matted it on some red card stock.
I skipped the scalloped edge frame on this card and adhered Santa
using some dimensional adhesive to make him pop up.
The sentiment is stamped using the Mini Illustrated Clear Stamps.
For my last two cards, I decided to use two of the journaling cards from the Holly Jolly patterned paper.
I framed the journaling card with card stock die-cuts and adhered it all to some Christmas Eve patterned paper.
I selectively inked my sentiment (from the Mini Countdown Clear Stamps) in versa mark
and heat embossed it in white.
I added a button and twine to the bow to finish it off.
And I kept my last card super simple.
I die-cut the scalloped frame from the Christmas Eve patterned paper
and adhered it to some red card stock.
So you can see, I created six quick cards using the same design, but was able to make them all different by changing up a few elements.
Thanks for looking!
Great design and great way to use some of those stickers! I don't use them often when I"m scrapbooking and always have leftovers!
