Five Sympathy Cards

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the store where I sell my cards
in my town has requested some sympathy cards.

I also mentioned that, while purging my craft area a couple of months ago,
I came across lots of embellishments that I loved
the look of in the store when I bought them
but then didn't seem to use on any of my cards/layouts.
But as I was getting rid of things, I couldn't seem to get rid of them
(some of them were just too pretty!)
So, I decided to pull them out to make some sympathy cards.

On each card, I used some Bazzill Basics Classic Smooth White cardstock,
a strip of American Crafts' DIY patterned paper and
my favourite sympathy sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Lots to Say.

Here they are:

This diecut is Crate Paper.
I matted this card on a piece of Bazzill Rain Forest cardstock
and added a couple of buttons and twine to finish it off.

and I added some buttons and twine.

This card is matted on Bazzill Roselle cardstock and,
once again, the diecut is Crate Paper.

The flower diecut is from Heidi Swapp and I added a couple of PTI buttons with twine.
This card is matted on Bazzill Jade cardstock.

For this last card, I didn't add any patterned paper &
matted on Bazzill Basics Turquoise Mist cardstock.
The diecut is from Crate Paper and I added two PTI buttons with twine.

I'm also linking these up to this week's
The gorgeous Lots to Say stamp set is my favourite sentiment set!

Thanks for looking!

  18. WOW!! These are so lovely!! I like how you took the pre-made die cut and used them on these fabulous cards. I have so many and should make a bunch of cards ahead of time like this. Then I won't have to rush and make some when the time comes. STUNNING design.

  19. One sympathy card is a challenge to create, but you've created a set of five that are absolutely stunning. Delicate and lovely, sure to touch the hearts of those receiving them...
