1. My girl had a great week at camp!
We went to pick Sage up last Friday evening from Winkler Bible Camp.
It was so good to see her!
And she had such a great time -- she made new friends, enjoyed so many activities
and people -- I'm very glad she was able to go!
2. As you may know, I travelled to DR Congo with my church in 2010
and again in 2012, where I served as a French translator for our team.
Well, this weekend, one of the men that I met on both of my trips,
John Fumana, came to Manitoba.
My friend, John & Ingrid (Lucy's owners!), hosted a BBQ for him on Saturday evening.
It was a wonderful evening of sharing & hearing about
what God is doing in the DR Congo!
3. It was Cameron's birthday last Thursday and Jonah's yesterday,
so on Sunday, we hosted Cameron's family for a BBQ.
I had fun combining themes for their cake.
I chose each of their passions (farming for Cameron &
dinosaurs for Jonah) and came up with this....
4. On Tuesday, we had Jonah's party,
which pretty much consisted of his best friend, Josh, spending the day with us.
And we went to the pool in Winkler (a Jonah party tradition!)
When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted,
he picked an indominus rex -- the dinosaur from Jurassic World.
5. And lastly, I have a card to share.
I had fun making this little scene.
I used PTI's PTI's Petite Places: Sweet Shoppe & PP: Station sets
& their coordinating dies.
The sentiments are from PP: Station & KIS: Belated Birthday.
Thanks for looking!
