When we got home from church, I made a couple of cards
using Betsy Veldman's sketch for the Patterns Challenge:
using Betsy Veldman's sketch for the Patterns Challenge:
I was originally going to use this patterned paper for Betsy's sketch,
but I thought it would be fun to use with the Guiding Lights stamp set.
I inked the bottom of the patterned paper with Blueberry Sky ink.
I very rarely use the Blueberry Sky ink, so using it with Spring Rain,
Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy & the peachy/orange on the patterned paper
is a new colour combo for me, which qualifies for the Mix & Match Challenge.
I decided to use the same design, minus the matting,
to make a card for my church's visitation committee.
Off to make some more cards....

Great choice to ink blend the "ground"! It's totally unexpected!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Leigh!
ReplyDeleteThese are so neat!! I wasn't sure about trying out for this lighthouse stamp set, but you have me sold!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really handsome card, Leigh! Love the shaded hillside on which the lighthouse stands.
ReplyDeleteOoh, the lighthouse is perfect with that sketch, Leigh! Love the golden paper you used for the background and love your masked hillside inking at the bottom. Really beautiful!
