Sage and I have been getting ready for her birthday party next weekend.
We are planning an "art party", where she and her friends
will paint canvases and try some watercoloring.
It should be wonderful...
So, to make the invitations, we pulled out Betsy's MIM Masterpiece kit.
We made invitations and place cards and tags for the treat bags...
Oh, and lots of little easels, too.
It's been fun!
So, I decided that while I had the kit out that I would make her birthday
card right away, too...
I inked the butterflies with summer sunrise and either berry sorbet or
hawaiian shores around the edges) and then spritzing them with water
before stamping them onto watercolour paper.
I made the pocket using the PTI Pocket Journaling die and some patterned paper
and stamped a couple of butterflies onto that as well.
The sentiment is from Choose Joy.
I created a camouflaged pocket insert for this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink.
The insert pulls out to reveal the birthday greeting (from Bloomers).

Those butterflies are just stunning, and I always thought the Life is Beautiful butterflies were all I needed, but after seeing yours I know I NEED this set too!! I love the water colored soft look to them. And the sentiment is absolutely perfect!
