Today, I'm excited to be hopping along with the CASEing Kelly Blog Hop!
Many of you probably know Kelly Latevola...
She's a very talented stamper who started doing a feature on her blog,
You and Your Big Dreams called CASEing Genius.
I had the honour of being featured earlier this year (*click*).
In her feature, Kelly chooses three cards from the artist she's CASEing,
and then created a card inspired by these three cards.
Well, the "geniuses" that Kelly has been CASEing have decided
to create a blog hop where we all CASE her!
Here are the cards that I chose from Kelly:
Aren't they pretty?
Kelly loves colour -- the bolder, the better!
She also loves flowers,
so I decided to create a bold bouquet on my card using
MFTstamps' Fall Florals.
I was inspired by Kelly's first card to stamp the flowers
and add a banner (Wplus9's Basic Banner).
Kelly often seems to add colouring behind her flowers and I loved
on her middle card, how she added two different colours,
so I did the same.
Kelly loves to colour and stamp with white embossing,
so I mimicked this by using white diecuts and stamping on them.

ReplyDeleteI am having a ball on this hop! Firstly I adore Kelly and her work, but I am so excited to see how each one of you talented ladies has chosen to CASE her work. It is fun seeing what each of you zeros in on in her cards, and I think you did a wonderful job with the multicolor background behind your flowers, as well as mimicking the white embossing with the die cuts. What a challenge to select *only* three favourites from Kelly's amazing arsenal of creativity, but wow...you managed to narrow down some real treasures. Your case: simply awesome! Such a marvelous hop to put the spotlight on someone who allows so many others to shine. Heart-warming and touching!
