Happy Halloween!
We're off to Central Canada Comic Con (C4) in Winnipeg today,
but before we leave, I want to share a card that I made for this week's
I stamped my leaves in the background using my Songbirds leaf stamp
and my Zig markers, which I coloured onto my stamp and then spritzed with water
before stamping it onto my PTI rustic white cardstock panel.
My sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's Congratulations stamp set.
For my birds, I inked some soft stone cardstock with some soft stone
and Mama Elephant Smoke inks and diecut the birds (using the Songbirds dies.)
I inked the coordinating stamps in the Perfect Pearls medium and then
brushed on the Perfect Pearls.
I stamped their eyes in black and then used Glossy Accents to adhere
a rainstone over top.
I realize that I did vary slightly from Lizzie's technique,
but I'm pretty thrilled with how they turned out!
Thanks for looking!
Love the spritzing technique. I'm going to have to give that a try.
ReplyDeletePretty card! Love the birds.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card, Leigh, the spritzed leaves are so beautiful. Take care!

Gorgeous - I've been loving how you've used that leaf stamp. Every one of the cards has turned out stunning and this is no different. The little birds are so soft on it too. It's beautiful. Xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! :0)

ReplyDeleteAnother beauty using Songbirds, Leigh!
ReplyDeleteThis one, with its companions, would be a gorgeous gift set, Leigh. So incredibly pretty...
