Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop

Today, I'm participating in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. 

This month's challenge is this fabulous inspirational photo:

I was inspired by the oval shapes and the colours to make my card,

using the Life is Beautiful butterfly dies.

I started with an aqua mist background, on which I stamped a stamp from Brushed Off

several times in aqua mist.

Then, I stamped the sentiment from Phrases and Praises.

I diecut the butterflies from orange zest and kraft cardstock.

On the orange solid butterflies, I stamped the same Brushed Off stamp in orange zest.

On the kraft butterflies, I inked the middle of each one in black with my blending tool.

Then, I swiped some aqua mist ink onto a scrap of aqua mist cardstock and diecut the outside

edges of the butterflies and added those pieces to my card.
