So, I started something new with my Sunday School group.
I teach Grade Six girls and last month, I brought my stamps/card making supplies
along to make cards with my girls on Valentine's Day.
They enjoyed it so much, that we decided to do this once a month.
Last Sunday, we made Easter cards.
(Aren't they sweet?
There are seven girls in my group, but only three were there this past Sunday.)
I decided to introduce a new technique each month.
This month was heat embossing.
Here's the card that Sage made:
She heat embossed the PTI eggs in white and coloured them with Zigs.
Then she heat embossed the Reverse Confetti More Than Jellybeans bunny in Zing! butter.
I love how she traced the sentiment with a black marker.
And here's the card that I started, using the PTI Etched Egg stamp set
where I masked them and heat embossed them in white.
I coloured them in with some Zig markers that I coloured onto an acrylic block,
to which I added water with a paintbrush.
I stamped the sentiment (also from PTI Etched Eggs.)
Thanks for looking!
You ladies are so talented!
