Today, Jonah, Sage & I are off to a Black Belt Development Day in Miami.
Miami, Manitoba, that is. ;)
But before we go, I wanted to share the card that I made for The Challenge #63:
I love this fun sketch!
I decided to use my PTI Life is Beautiful butterflies to make my card.
I started by stamping my watercolour paper background with PTI's Text Style stamp set
in versamark and heat embossing it in white.
Then, using my watercolours, I inked up my panel.
I stamped the sentiment from Winter Woods.
I diecut my butterflies and stamped them with their coordinating stamp.
I started with the lightest colour of ink and used my MISTI to restamp it several times,
adding more ink (& eventually a darker shade) each time with a sponge.
This is for this week's Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink: Sponge Stamping.
I used Altenew's Soft Lilac & Lavender Fields, PTI's Sweet Blush & Berry Sorbet
and Altenew's Buttercream & Mango Smoothie inks.
Thanks for looking!
