Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge:
I decided to rotate the sketch 180˚ and use a fun
technique that Jennifer McGuire demonstrated recently on her blog
Look! Two unicorns from one stamp!
I started by stamping the first unicorn as a mirror image and
then masked his snout and stamped it using the regular stamp.
The heart is also from Unicorn Wishes.
I used Versafine onyx black and heat embossed them in clear.
I coloured them in using some Delicata Golden Glitz ink mixed
with water with a paintbrush.
I mixed a little peach ink into the gold to do the manes and tails
and then a little pink to colour in the heart.
This makes them have a faint shine which is very fun!
I stamped the sentiment (from Peacock Pretties) in versamark
on a strip of black cardstock and heat embossed it in white.
To finish it off, I covered up my unicorns and flicked
gold paint mixed with water onto my card.
Remember, there's still time to play along with the
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, July 28th to link up your card.
