Today, I have two cards to share that I made for
For both cards, I used my new MFT Flashy Florals kit
and for my first card, I used the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 287:
Here's my card:
I kept my card pretty straight forward, stamping the flowers
and leaves onto their coordinating diecuts.
I didn't have the right colours of ink, so I used my MISTI
and stamped some of them twice or more, using different inks
to create different colours.
I stamped my sentiment (from PTI's KIS: Birthday) onto a strip of cardstock
and adhered it using dimensional adhesive.
While I was stamping my flowers and leaves, I stamped extra
right away, since they were already set up with my MISTI.
Then, I made this card:
I stamped the leaf details onto my aqua background
and adhered my diecuts onto my white panel.
I stamped my sentiment using SSS Big Scripty Sentiments stamp set.
Thanks for looking!
both of your cards are so pretty Leigh - like how you did the leaf border on the second card.

ReplyDeleteYou make the most beautiful flower cards, my friend! And I'm always wowed by your color combos. Great idea on the repeat stamping to get a range of difference colors. And I love how the black makes everything pop!
