In lieu of having a release this month,
Reverse Confetti is having a sale!
With the summer months upon us, I thought I'd work on
my summer pocket album.... from last year.
While I was great about printing my photos for the album
(thank goodness, since my computer crashed earlier this year
and I lost all of them!), I wasn't great about putting them
in the album, making journaling cards, adding journaling, etc.
So, the other day, I pulled out some of my favourite
Reverse Confetti products and got to work...
I diecut all of my journaling cards using the die from
Documented Confetti Cuts which works perfectly in my album.
Using a little masking, I combined two sentiments from A Friend Like You,
and then stamped the lines from Right Here, Right Now.
For my next spread, I made three more cards.
I used my Zig Markers to colour in the images from Pineapples Aplenty
and then added some shading directly to the card, or by colouring
more on the stamp and stamping again, using my MISTI.
I added the background colours with Zigs, a paintbrush and water.
I used the same technique on the next two cards --
I thought it would look cool on the page if they were unified.
I created a stencil by diecutting the Falling Confetti Confetti Cuts
from a piece of thin cardstock and layering it over my cards.
I used a blending tool to apply the ink.
Then, I stamped the sentiment from Right Here, Right Now in navy blue ink.
And on this one, I stamped the sentiment from A Friend Like You.
I also wanted to share a few more of my favourite sets,
in case you're needed some suggestions to add to your cart. ;)

S'more Love
What better way to beat the heat than by stamping
