MFT Card Design Superstar Contest -- 2016

Today, I have three cards to share for the MFT Stamps

For my first card, I combined several floral sets
(Flashy Florals, Fall Florals and Modern Blooms)
to make my card.

I layered my blooms (stamped in MFT Orange Zest & Ripe Raspberry, PTI's Spring Moss
& Simply Chartreuse, Altenew's Coral Berry & Midnight Violet) over
a border of woodgrain patterned paper & my white cardstock,
which I splattered lightly with spring moss ink.

I stamped my "happy" sentiment (from Hand-Lettered Holiday)
in simply chartreuse and the "birthday" (from Soda Pop) in Ripe Raspberry.

For my next two cards, I featured the leaves from Modern Blooms and Flashy Florals.

I stamped the same sentiments as on my first card, this time heat embossing
the "birthday" in white on a strip of cardstock.
I added the "dot trios" from Hand Lettered Holiday.

And here's my third card, using the spotlight technique.

I stamped the leaves on two white cardstock panels -- one in Altenew Morning Frost
and Evening Grey & the other in MFT Orange Zest & Ripe Raspberry, PTI's Spring Moss
& Simply Chartreuse, Altenew's Midnight Violet -- using my MISTI.
I diecut the coloured panel using this gorgeous MFT die that's now retired.

As you might have figured out, I don't have a lot of sentiment stamps
in my collection, so for this card, I used a sentiment from PTI's Choose Joy.

*Note: I was very graciously contacted by MFT to let me know that
my last card didn't qualify for the contest, because it doesn't use all MFT stamps.
Thankfully, this left me enough time to create a new entry, which I will be posting on Tuesday.

Thanks for looking!

  18. Love all of these cards and these colors! It's amazing how different they look when you introduce black or grey vs. just white.
