Countdown to Confetti: Bear Hugs

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 3 of the April Release for Reverse Confetti

This month is a fantastic release,
with four new stamps sets & eight new Confetti Cuts!

For my first card using the super fun new stamp set we're featuring today -- Bear Hugs,
I used CAS(E) This Sketch #167 designed by N@ Ali:

This sketch was just too perfect not to combine the new Bitty Banners stamp set
& coordinating Confetti Cuts with Bear Hugs!

I watercolored my background and stamped my koalas and tree from Bear Hugs
onto a coordinating Confetti Cut.
I pressed ink onto my acrylic blog and used that, along with water and a paintbrush
to colouring my image.

I stamped three different Bitty Banners stamps onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see the rest of the DT's takes on the sketch
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, April 14th to link up your card.

For my second card, I was inspired by the current

Since that fun sheep is pink in the inspiration photo,
I thought: "Why not make a pink koala bear?"

Before breaking apart the new Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts, I ran them through my die cutting
machine with a piece of lime cardstock, to make a fun border for my card.
I stamped the koala from Bear Hugs onto its coordinating Confetti Cuts
in pink and then painted him in, using two shades of pink ink, water and a paintbrush.

I heat embossed the sentiment (from Bear Hugs) onto a strip of green cardstock
and heat embossed it in white.

Remember, there's still time to play along with this

  16. Both of these are great but for different reasons and I absolutely love that! I am always trying to find new looks and new ways to use one stamp so these are just perfection for me. The first is super cute and beautiful and the second is again super cute but just a little bit different because of the bolder colours and I love that too! Thanks for the blog hop and your awesome inspirations Karen x
