Countdown to Confetti: Tie-rific & Insta-Frames

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 2 of the April Release for Reverse Confetti

This month is a fantastic release,
with four new stamps sets & eight new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we're showcasing a new set that's perfect for dads
called Tie-rific (with coordinating Confetti Cuts!) as well as a fabulous
new set of Confetti Cuts called Insta-Frames!

I made two cards using the new Tie-rific stamp set -- one casual and the other a little more formal.

For my card for the more casual dad, I diecut a circle (from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts)
and a tie using the new Tie-rific Confetti Cuts from two of the new School Days Quick Card Panels.
I trimmed a couple of strips to make the collar for the shirt.

I stamped the sentiment from Tie-rific.

For my more formal card, I started with a piece of smokey shadow cardstock.

I scored two lines on my panel using my Scor-Pal and from there,
started stamping the adorable polka-dotted tie from Tie-rific  in either versafine onyx black &
heat embossed in clear or in versamark, which I heat embossed in gold.

I stamped the sentiment (also from Tie-rific) in versamark and heat embossed it in gold.

That's it for today!

  7. I like your second card with all the ties, but I LOVE the first one. How clever to give the illusion of a shirt and tie without all the fuss of an actual shirt. SUPER CREATIVE!! This release sure looks good to me.
