I have two more projects to share that I made for this week's Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink: Heat Embossing Vellum.
For my first card, I was inspired by a thread that Melissa Phillips started
on the PTI forum about the confetti trend...
I stared with some shimmer card stock in white and aqua.
I die cut both of them with my Mama Elephant Femme Frames dies.
Then I cut a rectangle of vellum and heat embossed my sentiment (from Birthday Style) in gold.
For the confetti inside the pocket, I used Paulina's gold sequins,
some glitter that Lori sent me in this month's card kit
& some blue stars that were cut from one of the PTI star banners from the aqua shimmer card stock.
Then I stitched the panel in place.
And I also made a tag, using In the Meadow.
I started with a base of Pink Paislee patterned paper that I die cut with Tag Sale #7.
I added a layer of vellum, on which I stamped the tree and snowflakes, which I heat embossed.
I added some snow hills (another crafty card kit item from Lori)
and a felt die cut.
I'm linking this tag up to this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:
Let It Snow.
Thanks for looking!
