Heat embossing on vellum is one of my favourite techniques,
so I knew that I needed to play along with this week's Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink: Heat Embossing Vellum.
I made some butter crunch to give to Austin's teacher and made some tags to go along with them.
I diecut all of the tags using PTI's Tag Sale #7.
Then I stamped on vellum rectangles with my Scent-imentals stamp set,
using the gingerbread man and the coffee cup.
Then I stitched them together using a zig zag stitch.
Originally, I'd thought I'd make each tag totally different, using different stamp sets & different designs for each tag. But then reality set in & I realized they would get done much quicker if I used the same stamps & design.
To satisfy my need for originality, I changed up the colours on each one.
Oh, and I apologize for the poor photos.
I had to take them in the evening and that's when it's dark out.
So eight down and seven more to go....
Thanks for looking!
these look great!!
ReplyDeleteGreat tags! And now I'm hungry for butter crunch, even though I don't know what that is, but it sounds yummy.
ReplyDeletePerfect tags for "goodie" packages.
ReplyDeleteThese tags are so cute. Great layout too! There is something about vellum that reminds me of frosting. Perfect for giving goodies with!
