Countdown to Confetti: Circle Sentiments & God is Good

Hey, 'Fetti Fans, welcome to Day 2 of the May Release for Reverse Confetti

This is such a fabulous release, with five new stamp sets and six new Confetti Cuts!
Lots of sweet goodness coming this month!

Today, we are introducing two new sets:
a fun sentiment with coordinating Confetti Cuts called Circle Sentiments
and a beautiful sentiment set called God is Good.

First up, I'm sharing some tags that I made using Circle Sentiments.

Now, if you visit my blog regularly, you probably know that I love making Butter Crunch
to my kids' teachers to show my appreciation for them.
Well, for Austin's parent-teacher conferences, I whipped up a couple of batches
and used the new Circle Sentiments stamp set for the tags.

For each tag (which I diecut using the largest scalloped
circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts), I used the circle stamp
from Circle Sentiments, as well as the the "thanks that was awesome" stamp.
Since I wanted to let the teachers know that they were awesome,
I cut apart my stamp (I know! Gasp!) and then used the "you're" stamp
from the Fancy Words stamp that was released last month.
For each tag, I did some ombre inking with two colours.

On this one, I used tropical teal and aqua mist.

Orange zest and summer sunrise.

Pure poppy and orange zest.

And one of Austin's teachers is gluten-free as well as sugar free,
so after much deliberation, I decided to give him a pineapple
(it felt like a "Psych" thing to do.)

He loved it!
He said it was the best teacher gift he'd ever gotten. :)
On his tag, I inked it in hawaiian shores & limeade ice.

I also have a card to share using the Circle Sentiments stamp set
& the coordinating Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts.

I love the shape of the circle from Circle Sentiments and thought it would
be perfect to stamp repeatedly for a masculine card.
I stamped my circles in summer sunrise & hawaiian shores directly onto my card base.
Then, for my sentiment, I stamped that circle onto the coordinating
Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut and stamped the sentiment in summer sunrise.

A few enamel dots finish if off.

I also have some projects to share using the new God is Good stamp set.
 I love this stamp set!
The fonts are fabulous and it's especially perfect for the cards that I make
for the visitation committee at my church!

When I was purging my supplies, I happened upon some Heidi Swapp embellishments
that I thought would be perfect to go with the God is Good stamp set.

Isn't this sentiment beautiful?
I stamped it in versafine onyx black on the rustic white cardstock
and trimmed off the edges where the butterflies overlapped.

For my next card, I stamped one of the God is Good sentiments onto
white cardstock and heat embossed it in white.
Then, I did the same using a star stamp from So Many Stars.

I inked up my background using some harvest gold ink at the bottom,
then some blueberry sky ink and finally, some enchanted evening at the top.

For my last project today, I have a layout to share that I made using some photos
I took of Sage last June.

I kept my layout simple and am really happy with how it turned out!
I realized why I had a relatively easy time purging the embellishments from my craft area:
I really enjoy making my own!

For my background, I used some Bazzill CS White cardstock.
Over this, I layered a piece of Webster's patterned paper.

I diecut some of the CS White cardstock using
the journaling card die from Documented Confetti Cuts.
On this, I stamped the sentiment from God is Good and heat embossed it in gold.

Then, for fun, I added some star garlands that I diecut from Bazzill Basics Gold Foil
using another new Confetti Cut that's being released this month: Star Garland.

There are five garland diecuts that I added along the bottom of the layout.
