This is such a fabulous release, with five new stamp sets and six new Confetti Cuts!
Lots of sweet goodness coming this month!
Today, we are introducing two new sets with coordinating Confetti Cuts:
a super cute set called Monkey Business and a super fun set called Party Hats.
First up, I'm sharing the cards that I made using Monkey Business.
I decided to make two birthday cards: one masculine & one feminine.
Here's the masculine card:
Aren't these little monkeys adorable?
I'm totally in love!
For this card, I included a whole bunch of techniques.
I did some paper piecing on the balloons, presents & the monkey's tummies
(using some Authentique patterned paper).
I did a little masking with the monkeys and had fun stamping one on top of the other!
Then, I heat embossed the monkeys in clear and painted them in using some ink
that I pressed onto an acrylic block and spritzed with water.
I thought standing on presents and on each other's heads totally qualified
for the "monkey business" on the sentiment.
Hopefully the intended recipient's party doesn't get as "wild." LOL!
And here is the feminine card using Monkey Business:
Isn't she just so sweet in pink?
I started with a background of Crate Paper patterned paper
and decided to make a shaker card using the Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts
that were released last month.
I filled them with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and used
Once again, I paper-pieced the balloons and heat embossed my monkey in clear
and then water coloured her using some ink pressed onto an acrylic block and
spritzed with water.
To get the different shades of the berry sorbet, I just added more water.
I think a little girl would be delighted to get such an adorably sweet card!
And I have one more project to share with you today...
It's a layout that I made using the new Party Hats stamp set & coordinating Confetti Cuts.
I scrapbooked the photos that I took of Jonah's birthday party last summer.
I diecut the four photos and the two pieces of Crate Paper patterned paper using
the journaling card die from Documented Confetti Cuts.
For my title/journaling, I typed my journaling onto the patterned paper diecut
on my typewriter and then diecut the "birthday" using the Fancy Words Confetti Cuts
that were released last month, removing the diecut word and adhering the negative to my layout.
Then I stamped the Party Hats stamp onto the coordinating Party Hats Confetti Cuts.
That's it for today!
