And thanks again, Sage, for being such a wonderful guest blogger!
You're the best!
From the comments received, it looks like you'd be quite welcome
to guest blog for me anytime... :)
It's the 25th of the month, which means that I'm playing along
with the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, where this month's challenge is this photo:
I love these pinks, oranges and golds together!
I decided to use the colour scheme (orange zest, autumn rose,
scarlet jewel, sweet blush & gold), along with my new Brushed Off stamp set
to make a couple of cards.
My first card uses my new Leaf Silhouette dies.
I masked off my card and stamped the Brushed Off stamp repeatedly
across my card.
I stamped the sentiment (from Wet Paint) in onyx black.
I added a strip of Bazzill Basics Gold Foil.
I also diecut the leaves (one using the Leaf Silhouette die
and the second one from the Phrase Play #7 die.
On my second card, I stamped the same Brushed Off stamp
in the same colours.
This time, I stamped the sentiment from Choose Joy
and added a strip of true black cardstock.
I diecut the leaves from vellum using the Songbirds die
and adhered it over the Brushed Off stripes.
Thanks for looking!
Very pretty Leigh!!
