Hi there, Sage here.
(My mom took this picture on the Ferris Wheel at the Corn & Apple Festival
this past weekend. I had a great time!)
Today as guest blogger, I'm sharing the card that I made for
Bella, a friend I made at camp this summer.
Bella, a friend I made at camp this summer.
Here's my card:
and stamped the dog & sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Simon stamp set.
Then, I stamped the bandana on another piece of paper.
Then, I coloured in the bandana using the Zig Markers
and used a water brush to give it a watercolour effect.
I used the Zig Markers to colour in the dog.
For the grass, I drew a bunch of lines with a green Zig marker
and took the water brush and made more lines going down.
Near the bottom, I just swirled it.
For the sky, I coloured around the sentiment and then I took the water brush
and brushed the colour around.
I'm linking this card up to Simon Says Stamp's
Thanks for all your kind comments as
my mom's guest blogger!
See ya next time!

Very sweet card and great background! Hope to see you back soon!
ReplyDeleteSage this is awesome!! I must show these all to Phoebe in the morning, so she can see someone else around her age who likes to water colour. It will give her so many ideas I bet. Certainly gives me a lot to think about. I love the way you did the grass and the sky, will have to try that myself. Your Mum must be so proud of you!!!
