This month is an amazing release,
with four new stamps sets & six new Confetti Cuts!
The set we're introducing today is beautiful!
It's called Rose Garden and comes with coordinating Confetti Cuts.
I started by blending some hawaiina shores ink onto my white card panel.
Then, I stamped my sentiment, leaves and sprigs (all from Rose Garden) onto my background.
I stamped the roses onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts and adhered them to my card.
For the largest rose, I coloured it in with some ink mixed with water and a paintbrush.
I decided to do a watercolour effect on my second card
and use CAS(E) This Sketch #162:
Here's my card:
I started by colouring the smallest rose image with two shades of Zig markers
and spritzing it with water before stamping it.
I repeated this process again on my card front and a third time with the larger rose
onto a coordinating Confetti Cut.
Then, I did a little masking and repeated the same technique with the leaves.
I diecut the Pretty Panels: Happy from black cardstock and adhered them to my card.
Beneath these, I stamped my sentiment (from Whole Lotta Happy).
Once I was done stamping, I diecut my panel using one of the Edgers Confetti Cuts.
On the lower half, I watercoloured my diecut piece by colouring with one of the Zig markers
I used on the flowers onto my acrylic block, spritzing it with water
and then applying the watered down ink with a paintbrush.
Then, I adhered the pieces to a solid piece of white cardstock.
Remember there's still time to play along with CAS(E) This Sketch #162.
For my third card, I was inspired by the current
I love all the green with the white,
and I thought of white roses, wrapped in green paper.
I diecut a piece of Crate Paper patterned paper with the Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts
and then used my Tim Holtz blending tool to turn it green.
I also blended some of the same ink onto my background panel.
I took a second piece of white cardstock and diecut it
with the largest scalloped circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.
For my roses, I stamped them in versamark onto their coordinating Confetti Cuts
(diecut from vintage cream cardstock) and heat embossed them in white.
The leaves were also diecut from vintage cream cardstock, but I inked them green
and then stamped them in the same shade,
I stamped the sentiment in versrmark onto a piece of black cardstock
and heat embossed it in white.
That's it for today!
