Countdown to Confetti: Unicorn Wishes

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans, to Day 1 of the March Release for Reverse Confetti

This month is an amazing release,
with four new stamps sets & six new Confetti Cuts!

The set we're introducing today is adorable -- and my daughter, Sage, totally agrees!
It's called Unicorn Wishes and comes with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

Here's the first card that I made with this super cute set:

I started by colouring my background with some ink pressed onto an acrylic
block, mixed with water, with a paintbrush.
Then, I used this same technique to colour in the stamped and diecut
unicorn (isn't he the cutest!) and trees.

I wanted a magical feel to the card, so I made it very colourful
and then added some Delicata Golden Glitz ink (mixed with water)
to colour in the tree trunks, the unicorn's horn, hooves and nose.

On my next card, I stamped the unicorn directly onto one of the new
So Very Spring Quick Card Panels that are being released this month,
which I diecut using the largest scalloped circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.
I coloured him in with my Zig markers, as well as some Delicata Golden Glitz mixed
with water for his horn, hooves and nose.

I layered the scalloped circle diecut over a fun new die that's being released this month
called the Double Panel Heart Confetti Cuts.
It's two separate dies, so I cut both of them from white cardstock
and coloured the bottom one in with my Zig markers and layered the second one over top.
I then, cut it into two pieces so I could have it run the length of my card
and used the scalloped circle to hide the seam.

I stamped the sentiment (from Unicorn Wishes) in versarmark
and heat embossed it in white on a strip of black cardstock.

And for my last card for today, I used another So Very Spring Quick Card Panel,
which I used as a border on my card.
I diecut some star vellum using the largest scalloped circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts
and layered a stamped unicorn on its coordinating confetti cut over top.

I stamped the sentiment (from Unicorn Wishes) in versarmark
and heat embossed it in white on a strip of black cardstock
and then diecut the end using one of the flags from Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts.
I adhered to my card and used it to hide the seam from my cut up So Very Spring Quick Card Panel.
A few wooden stars, which I inked yellow, finish it off.

I'm also linking this up to Darnell's NBUS Challenge #6,
because I used so many new supplies.
