A few things to share....

Well, we're definitely starting to get into Christmas mode here....
Last Saturday, it was a little warmer outside --
meaning I could go and work outside without ski pants and not freeze my butt off --
so, I decided to decorate the outside of my house.
I strung some evergreen boughs along my front window and porch railing.
And I also decorated near the front door.

The bright, shiny silver rectangle at the bottom is a sign that I made.
I found a piece of MDF in our basement and spray painted it silver -- well, actually, the colour was called "chrome" (this, too, I found in my basement.)
Then, I diecut the Bible verse with my Silhouette and some vinyl.

I started decorating the inside of my house on Friday.
And we put up the tree and the lights yesterday, but had several interruptions,
so we didn't get it decorated.
Hopefully, this afternoon....

And Jonah & Sage had their parent-teacher conferences on Friday,
so, of course, I made batches of butter crunch to give away.

I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy this technique, because stamping backgrounds
isn't my specialty, but I was surprised at how much fun I had!

I diecut eight tags using classic kraft yardstick and Tag Sale #7.
Then, because I don't have any stripe stamps, I searched through my sets to find
some line stamps I could use.
The diecut words are Wet Paint Cuts.
I made four different designs, with two different colour schemes.
These first four use ripe avocado, terracotta tile and white.

And the second colour scheme is ripe avocado, hawaiian shores & white.

Fusion Card Challenge -- Sparkly Christmas

Today, I have a card to share that I made using some Reverse Confetti goodies

I loved both the gorgeous photo and the sketch,
so I used both of them to make my card.

I used some Bazzill cardstock for my base (Red Hots & Walnut Cream).
I was inspired by the Pink Paislee Merry & Bright patterned paper that I diecut using
the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts to stamp some white leaves over the cardstock
using one of the stamps from Petals 'n Posies.
The scallop circle (also diecut using  Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts) and
the star (Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts) were diecut from Bazzill Bling Tungsten cardstock.
I diecut the banner using  Tag Me Confetti Cuts & stamped the sentiment (from Seasonal Sentiments)
in versamark and then heat embossed it with Ranger's Seafoam White.

I love the shimmer!

Tag You're It Challenge #11 -- Take 2

Today, I have another card that I made for Tag You're It Challenge #11
(click here to see my first take on Maureen's card).

I remember when Maureen posted this beauty on her blog & thinking it was amazing,
so I was pretty excited about being able CASE it!

Instead of diecutting my background with my PTI Centre Stage cover plate,
I used it as an impression plate to give texture to my background.
I diecut my tag using PTI's Tag Sale #7 and
stamped my sentiment with Reverse Confetti's Lots to Say.
I finished it off with some twine and a Crate Paper chipboard embellishment.

Remember to visit the Tag You're It Challenge Blog to see the rest of the DT's takes
on the challenge and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Wednesday, December 3rd to link up your project.

I just wanted to wish a happy Thanksgiving to my American friends --
I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful day!

Today, I have a Christmas card that I made using the

I love how the white stands out in the photo &
the patterned rug that grounds everything. So pretty!

I decided to use some Pink Paislee pattened paper for my background,
leaving some white along the sides.

I stamped my sentiment (from Seasonal Sentiments) onto Love Note diecut.
I added a Pink Paislee embellishment & some leaves that I diecut using the North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts

And before I go, I just wanted to let you know that
today & tomorrow, Reverse Confetti is having a Black Friday sale.
Here are the details:

And, Pretty Pink Posh is also having a sale tomorrow:

A "Jolly Good" Treat Bag

Today, I have a fun & festive treat bag to share (along with a photo tutorial!),
that I made using the wonderful Jolly Good Collection from Chickaniddy Crafts.

I decided to make a batch of butter crunch (which is always a hit!) and package it up in a clear bag.  And, of course, I couldn't resist making it fun & pretty!

I made the tray holding the butter crunch in the bag using some Jolly Good patterned paper from the 6x6 Paper Pad and by following these instructions.

Once the goodies were in the tray and in the bag, I made a tag to finish it off. I started by diecutting two tags -- one from white cardstock & two from patterned paper. I left one of the tags whole, but cut off the end of the second tag and adhered it to my cardstock tag.

Next, I stamped my sentiment (from the Scrumptious Mini Illustrated Clear Stamp set -- so perfect for a treat bag!) in red and framed it with a Jolly Good Die Cut Tag.
I added a Mini Sticker sentiment with some dimensional adhesive in the middle & an enamel star.
I thread some ribbon through the hole, wrapped it around the bag and tied a bow. And voila -- a super sweet treat bag, all ready to give away!

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop

It's the 25th, which means that there is one month left until Christmas!
Have you started your shopping yet?
(I am thrilled to say that I got mine done last week, thanks to Amazon. :)  )

It also means that today is the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.  :)

This month's challenge is "snow".
And while my hope had been to make the snow-themed ornaments
that I'm making for my Christmas place-settings this year, time was not on my side.
But, since I still wanted to participate in the hop, I decided to share Day 8 of my
Advent Calendar Tag & coordinating card, since they are both snow-themed.

(I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.
I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that will hang on my kitchen wall.
For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.
(You can see my previous tags & cards here.))

For Day 8's tag, I used my Shaker Shapes: Square dies with
one of the PTI's Tinsel & Tags kit dies.

I diecut my "8" using PTI's Book Print Number dies.

I used the same patterned paper & MIM Tinsel & Tags dies for my card.

For my card though, I used the Shaker Shapes: Circle dies.
I stamped my sentiment using Mama Elephant's Season's Greetings stamp set.

And, before I go, Sage also has a card to share that she made for the hop.
It was her friend's birthday, so Sage made this card for her.

She stamped the squirrel (from PTI's Nuts for You stamp set) and diecut him
with the coordinating die, before colouring him in.
The scarf is from Simon Says Stamp's Stylish Simon, the sentiment is SSS, as well, which
I helped her stamp in Versamark and heat emboss in white.
Sage used Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Border 1 Die to create the snowbanks.
I drew the present by hand. ;)

Sage is also linking her card up to Emily Leiphart's Squirrelfest Challenge & Giveaway.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 7

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.
I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that
will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.
(You can see my previous tags & cards here.)

For Day 7's tag, I used my Shaker Shapes: Ornament dies with
my PTI Songbirds dies.

I used some aqua mist and stamper's select white cardstock.
For the Songbird, I diecut him from some white cardstock that I'd stamped on with
the addition stamps from the PTI Tinsel & Tags MIM kit.
I diecut the leaves from some music notes patterned paper.
The 7 was diecut using PTI's Book Print Number dies.

I loved the looks of the sheet music leaves on the aqua mist cardstock,
so I went with that for my coordinating card.
I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from Reverse Confettti's Seasonal Sentiments.

I diecut my bird from some Bazzill Basics Gold Foil cardstock.
Here's a close up of the gold foil bird.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 6

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.
I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that
will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.
(You can see my previous tags & cards here.)

For Day 6's tag, I used my Shaker Shapes: Circles dies with
some Teresa Collins patterned paper.

I diecut the snowflakes form some woodgrain patterned paper using Wplus9`s Snowflake Trio Dies.
The 6 was diecut from smokey shadow patterned paper using PTI`s Book Print Number dies.

For my coordinating card, I used the leftover circle from the tag
and the same snowflake dies.

I also used the negative scalloped circle die from white cardstock, on which I
stamped my sentiment (from Mama Elephant`s Season`s Greetings stamp set.)
I layered some patterned paper from PTI`s Tinsel & Tags patterned paper pack
and stitched on my button with some red & white baker`s twine.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 5

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.
I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that
will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.
(You can see my previous tags & cards here.)

For Day 5's tag, I used my  Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duos 1 tag die with
some Pink Paislee patterned paper.

I kept this one super simple and just added a diecut number
(diecut from some smokey shadow cardstock & PTI`s Book Print number die.)

I made my card using some coordinating patterned paper.

I trimmed a piece of Pink Paislee patterned paper and layered it over my red cardstock base.
I stamped my sentiment (from Reverse Confetti's Seasonal Sentiments) on a strip of white
cardstock and diecut the end using the largest tag from Tag Me.

And before I go, I just wanted to let you know that I have a treat bag
and tag on the Chickaniddy Blog today, if you'd like to check it out.
