CAS(E) This Sketch #101

Today, I have four cards to share for CAS(E) This Sketch #104,

which was designed by N@ Ali:

I decided to use a stamp set that I'd borrowed from my friend, Susan,

to make my card -- Wplus9's Woodland Wreaths.

And then, before I knew it, I'd made four cards using the sketch & this set.

The first one I made using a white cardstock background, as well as my Simple Stripes IP from PTI.

I added a few Wplus9 Merry & Bright pine boughs and pinecones.

This second one was stamped on kraft & I impressed it with PTI's Bookprint IP.

I added some buttons & twine to finish it off.

My third card was stamped on vintage cream cardstock and

I added some of the fruit & the bird from the stamp set.

I impressed this one with PTI's Woodgrain IP.

And lastly, I made a birthday card with the wreath.

I really like these colours together.

'Tis the Season

I have Christmas card to share today that I made using the

 Seasonal Sentiments stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

I started with some Pink Paislee patterned paper for my background.

I stamped my sentiment (from Seasonal Sentiments) in gold onto a cardstock panel

and adhered it to my card.

I diecut the largest snowflake from the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts from aqua mist cardstock 

and adhered it to my card, securing it in place with a Teresa Collins decorative brad.

Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today, along with the rest of the Reverse Confetti DT,

 I'm playing along with Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

I decided to make my tag using one of the pretty sentiments from

the newly released Seasonal Sentiments stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

I diecut some rustic white cardstock & some Pink Paislee patterned paper with Tag Me.

I stamped my sentiment (from Seasonal Sentiments).

A Pink Paislee embellishment & a twine bow finish it off.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 4

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.

I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that

will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.

(You can see my previous tags & cards here.)

For Day 4's tag, I used the PTI's Shaker Shapes: Star dies with

some Simple Stories Holly Jolly patterned paper.

I diecut the stitched star die from some stamper's select white cardstock

and the 4 from some smokey shadow cardstock using PTI's Book Print Number dies.

I diecut the snowflake from some music note paper using the largest snowflake from

Wplus9's Snowflake Trio Dies and stitched a button over top.

For my coordinating card, I used the same patterned paper & Shaker Shapes die.

For the base of my card, I used some Bazzill Basics Guacamole cardstock, which I also used for the stitched star diecut.

I diecut the banner using some Bazzill Basics Taffy and the banner die from PTI's

MIM Tinsel & Tags kit, on which I stamped using the same banner (in soft stone) 

and the sentiment (also from the Tinsel & Tags stamp set.)

I ran the Bazzill Basics Marshmallow cardstock through my diecutting machine 

with my We R Memory Keepers wood grain embossing folder.

A few Pretty Pink Posh wooden stars finish it off.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 3

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.

I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that

will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.

For Day 3, I used some Teresa Collins patterned paper with

my PTI rectangle frame that came with the MIM Shakers kit.

I diecut the frame from aqua mist cardstock and added my number,

using PTI's Book Print Number dies.

I was inspired by the dark red snowflakes and their placement on the journaling card

I used for my tag to create my card.

I started with another Teresa Collins journaling card (from the same piece

of patterned paper as my tag above) and diecut it with my PTI Journaling Card 1 die.

I used some Bazzill Basics Almond Cream cardstock for my card base, and layered

some Bazzill Basics Turquoise Mist cardstock over top.

The snowflakes were diecut using Wplus9's Snowflake Trio dies &

some Bazzill Basics Ruby Slipper cardstock.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 2

I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.

I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that

will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made, inspired by the tag.

(You can see my Day 1 tag & card here.)

For my tag, I used my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duos 1 tag die and some

music note patterned paper (I can't remember the brand -- sorry!)

I added a snowflake (diecut from white patterned paper using the largest

snowflake from Wplus9's Snowflake Trio Dies), my number (diecut

using PTI's Book Print Number dies) and a couple buttons stitched on with twine.

For my card, I used the same patterned paper as my background and

the same snowflake dies diecut from white cardstock.

I stamped my sentiment using Mama Elephant's Season's Greetings stamp set

and added a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh 4mm metallic gold sequins.

CAS(E) This Sketch #100

It's our 100th sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch &
 we are celebrating with something fun for the winner for the winner
& with having all of our past DT members participate in
this week's sketch by Michelle Williams:

Here's my take on the sketch, which I rotated 180˚.

I stamped some Altenew Painted Flowers along the top, using berry sorbet & sweet blush

for the blooms (for the second step, I stamped the berry sorbet off first before stamping it 

on the flowers) & ripe avocado, simply chartreuse and limeade ice for the leaves.

The sentiment is Papertrey Ink's Wet Paint. 

A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finish it off.

Advent Calendar Tag & Coordinating Card, Day 1

So, I was inspired to create a new Advent Calendar this year.

I've made 24 numbered tags that I'm displaying on an old window that

will hang on my kitchen wall.

For each tag, I also have a card to share that I made,

inspired by the tag.

For my first tag, I used my PTI Shaker Shapes: Snow Globe dies,

along with my Wplus9 Winter Woodland stamp set & coordinating dies.

I used some Webster's Pages patterned paper on my background.

I layered my deer diecut (which was stamped and heat embossed in gold) over top, as well as my snow bank that I made using a Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Border die.

The snowflakes were also diecut using the Snow Globe dies and the number was diecut

from smokey shadow cardstock, using my PTI Book Print number dies.

And, I used the same patterned paper, dies and stamps to make my card....

The sentiment was stamped using Mama Elephant's Season's Greetings stamp set.

Thankful for you today & always

I just wanted to share this card with you today, 

my online friends, in an attempt to let you know how much I appreciate

you stopping by my blog and leaving comments about my work 

-- they really do make my day!

I started off by diecutting some vintage cream card stock with my Mama Elephant Femme Frames dies

 and inking the scalloped edge rectangle with Tim Holtz blending tool and a few shades of ink.

From the inked panel, I die-cut the Kelly Purkey ampersand and stamped my sentiment

(from Reverse Confetti's Forever Fall stamp set.)

I stamped the sentiment on the stitched rectangle card stock panel as well and 

adhered my ampersand die-cut using dimensional adhesive.

Cas(e) This Sketch #99 -- take 2

I loved this week's CAS(E) This Sketch #99 by Michelle Williams
so much that I made another card using it.

Here's my card:

This card actually got modified quite a bit....

I'd started with some My Mind's Eye floral patterned paper along the side and chose my colours 

from there, but it felt too busy to me, so I switched it out for this bold, but soft 

striped patterned paper (also MME).

I stamped PTI's Scribbled Circles onto vintage cream card stock in versamark and heat embossed them in clear. Then I inked them with my Tim Holtz blending tool and sweet blush, aqua mist,

berry sorbet & ocean tides inks.

I'd stamped some green leaves at first, but decided it was too many colours, so I restamped those 

(using Wplus9's Spring Blooms stamp set).

The sentiment is PTI's Wet Paint stamped in ocean tides.

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Well, the holidays are right around the corner and Reverse Confetti

I started with an aqua mist background and layered some white snow hills over top,

which I cut by hand.

I die cut some Branched Out Confetti Cuts trees from some 

Pink Paislee & Fancy Pants patterned paper.

I stamped Marley (Quirky Cuties: Marley Moose) and paper pieced him, 

using a mix of card stock & patterned paper.

I stamped my sentiment (from Seasonal Sentiments) in black.

Today, I have a card to share that I made for Tag You're It Challenge #10

where we're being inspired by this pretty card by TYIC Designer Lynn Put:

I was inspired by the direction of Lynn's tag and how she layered it over the banners.

I used some Crate Paper patterned paper, which I die cut the ends with using
the smaller tag from Reverse Confetti's Tag Me.
I die cut my tag using Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts &
stamped my sentiment (from Lots to Say) in aqua mist.
Then, I added some twine & two Crate Paper chipboard elements.

Coundown to Confetti: North Pole Wishes & Seasonal Sentiments

Welcome to Day 3 of the November Release for Reverse Confetti! 

It's a fabulous winter release,

with four new stamps sets & seven new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we are introducing two new stamp sets: 

a wonderfully festive set (with coordinating Confetti Cuts) called North Pole Wishes

 a beautiful sentiment set called Seasonal Sentiments.

First up, I made a card using North Pole Wishes and its coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I diecut the tag from some Heidi Swapp patterned paper using Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the sentiment from North Pole Wishes and added some diecut holly & berries

that I diecut from some coordinating Heidi Swapp patterned paper.

I added a few more diecuts to my background.

Some twine and some Pretty Pink Posh bells finish it off.

I also wanted to create a card using the set, but for a non-Christmas card.

Here's what I came up with: 

I stamped the "special delivery" from North Pole Wishes, as well as the little

envelopes (which I diecut using their coordinating Confetti Cuts).

The "birthday" is from So Very Special & the "wishes" is from  Label Me.

Next, I made several cards using Seasonal Sentiments and

some of the fun Confetti Cuts that Reverse Confetti is releasing this month.

I diecut the background of this card using the new Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments.

The little tree was diecut using the new Branch Out Confetti Cuts,

which I topped with a gold star from Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts.

I used the new Circle Garland Confetti Cuts & the new Pretty Panels: Circle Garland

to make this new card...

I stamped the Seasonal Sentiment stamp in black and added the cardstock Circle Garland diecuts.

I diecut the Pretty Panel: Circle Garland from gold paper and pieced it together to make a longer

garland and added it to my card.

A few mini gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finishes it off.

And lastly, I used paired Seasonal Sentiments with the new Let It Snow Confetti Cuts.

I diecut the three different sizes of snowflakes from three different colours of cardstock.

To finish them off, I added a glass dewdrop to the centre of each one.
