Reverse Confetti April Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April Blog Hop!

We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti products!
For the hop, I decided to make not one, but three cards,
which were inspired by Inspired By All the Little Things #51:

Isn't it adorable?
I immediately thought of using the little chick from Carton CutiesCarton Cuties
and making a nest using

Here's my first card, an Easter card:

I blended ink onto my background and then added
my stamped chickies from Carton Cuties
into the nest that I created by diecutting two
of the larger Swirlies Confetti Cuts.

I coloured the chicks in with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and a water brush and stamped my sentiment using Easter Blessings.

Then, I decided to make a baby card:

For this one, I blended aqua mist ink onto my background using my Heart Stencil
and added a branch using The Tweet Life Confetti Cuts.

I stamped my sentiment using Bear Hugs.

And lastly, I made a friends card:

I diecut my background using my Big Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts
and blended ink onto it.

I heat embossed my sentiment (from A Friend Like You)
on a piece of vellum.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Speckled -- Take Two

I have another card to share that I made using the current

I decided to use my Stampin' Up! Indescribable Gift stamp to make my card.

I stamped my image onto watercolour paper in versafine onyx black ink
and heat embossed it in clear.
Then, I coloured it in, using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and a water brush.
When I was done, I masked off the image and splattered (speckled?)
some ink mixed with water over top.

I stamped the sentiment using Papertrey Ink's Phrases and Praises.

Remember, there's still time to play along with this
 Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.

CAS(E) This Sketch #216

Today, I have a card to share that I made for
CAS(E) This Sketch #216 designed by N@ Ali:

When I saw the stripes on this week's sketch, I immediately thought of this cool card
that my Reverse Confetti teammate, Amy Sheffer, made.
I was inspired by her card to make mine...

I started by stamping my background on Cloud White Cardstock
using my Elemental Stripes stamp set in Grape Soda Ink, RC Aqua Ink, Iced Aqua Ink,
Lime Green Ink, Tangerine Ink, Brick Ink, Rose Ink and Piggy Bank Ink .
I added the Unicorn Wishes stamp on its coordinating Confetti Cuts
and coloured it in using my Delicata Golden Glitz ink, mixed with water
and a paintbrush.

I added some of the same Delicata Golden Glitz ink to my wooden stars
and heat embossed my sentiment (also from Unicorn Wishes) in white.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see the rest of the DT's takes on the sketch
and to play along, if you'd like.
You have until Thursday, April 13th to link up your card.

God is Good

*Note: I've listed a bunch of new stamps/dies for sale in my previous post.
You can scroll down to check them out (along with photos of my craft area) or click here.

Today, I'm popping to to share a card that
I was inspired to make by the March Butterfly Reflections Ink Mood Board
using some Reverse Confetti goodies.

Isn't it wonderful?
I was inspired by the colours and the photo at the top with the lemon and lime.
Here's my card:

I blended some Iced Aqua Ink onto my Cloud White Cardstock panel
and added some speckles with more ink, mixed with water.
I stamped my leaves and flowers from Rose Garden onto my Rose Garden Confetti Cuts

I stamped my sentiment from God is Good in Navy Ink.

Purging my craft space

The women's ministry at our church is having a theme for this year.
It's called A Simple Year.
With my new full time job & kind of busy life
the idea of simplifying speaks to me.

In February, they spoke about getting rid of things we no longer need.
They mentioned crafts that we'd purchased but never got around to doing.
This made me think of scrapbooking.
While I've still tried to make Monthly Moments layouts,
I'm not making traditional scrapbook layouts anymore.
So, I decided to get rid of everything that I wouldn't use for card making
and gave a few boxes away.

I loved how clean my space feels!
Here are some photos:

My space is located in a corner of my basement,
opposite of Sage's Lego Friends table.
My work had some extra wooden boxes, so I snatched up two of them,
thinking they'd be perfect for storing my inks.

This one holds my Reverse Confetti inks...

And this one, my Altenew inks.

I changed up how I store my cardstock --
three hanging file containers for my Papertrey Ink and Reverse Confetti cardstock.

My diecutting station, with four baskets underneath --
two for my Reverse Confetti stamps, one for my Papertrey Ink stamps
and a fourth for my stencils, background stamps, patterned paper pads
and impression plate/panel dies.

Behind my chair, I have my IKEA shelf, with my binders of dies,
three more baskets of stamps, cardstock, a few embellishments, etc.

So, once I was done purging, I decided to go through my stamps
and dies and purge those as well.
I found some that aren't getting enough love from me
and would benefit from being in a new home.
The prices listed below include shipping to Canada or the US.
I'm willing to ship internationally, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.

to be celebrating their 50th challenge!

Here's my card:

I started by stamping the flower image from my Concord & 9th set

I fussy cut it out by hand and adhered it over a piece of striped patterned paper.

I stamped my sentiment using PTI's Songbirds and
added a few rainstones to finish it off.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Speckled

The LEAD of the Speckled Challenge will be invited as a
Guest Designer in a future challenge!
Please visit the Curtain Call Challenge Blog for all the challenge info and deadline.

Here's my card:

It's a one layer card!
I started by stamping the flowers from Altenew's Best Mom in Altenew
Espresso and heat embossing it in clear.
Then, I masked it a little and stamped the jar from Lawn Fawn's Summertime Charm
in Altenew Mountain Mist and heat embossed that in clear.
I coloured them in with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush.
I also added some speckles to my jar with a paintbrush dipped in Papertrey Ink's
Ocean Tides ink mixed with water.

I stamped the sentiment (from Simon Says Stamp's Big Scripty Sentiments) in Altenew's Espresso.

Make sure you visit each of the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge
 designers' blogs for more inspiration!
