Ready for SAF

Well, we're ready for Stamp-A-Faire. :)

When Sage & I ordered our Stamp-A-Faire kit from Papertrey Ink at the end of June, we'd agreed to split the kit and to share the apron. However, when I saw the little tote included in our kit when we picked it up last week, I suggested making Sage her own apron using one of the totes. We went shopping at our local quilting store and Sage picked out some coordinating fabric.

Then, we decided to make an apron for Sage's doll, using some leftover fabric and the little tiny bag that came in the kit. And guess who sewed this one?

That's right.... Sage sewed her first project! I did the cutting, pinning and ironing, but she sewed it herself.  For the ties on both aprons, we used ribbon.

So, now you know what we'll be wearing on the 24th, while we're crafting in my basement. ;)

Thanks for looking!
