I was so excited to be asked to be a guest designer for Case Study Challenge this month!
And this month, we're changing things up a bit, so there won't be a Muse as such.
We'd like to honour Cath from the Moxie Fab World instead.
In case you missed the news, Cath stepped down from her position in the Paper Crafts magazine, as well as the host for MFW. December is a tribute to her influence on the paper crafting community,
and we chose four of her past posts that she shared within the "Oh My Moxie Fab!" column.
Here is the first one:
I love this photo!
I was totally inspired by the green, blue and gold feathers and
knew I needed to create some of my own on my card.
I stamped my feathers (from Waltzingmouse's Fine Feathers) onto vellum,
using two Mama Elephant inks.
Then, I sprinkled clear embossing powder over most of the feathers and
gold embossing powder over the tips.
Then I heat embossed them and cut them out by hand.
(I've ordered the coordinating dies for these sets, but they haven't arrived yet.)
I stamped the sentiment (from Mama Elephants Smitten) in the same green as on the feathers.
I finished it off by adding some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
Be sure to visit the Case Study Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team created for the challenge.
Thanks for looking!

This is gorgeous Leigh! I LOVE the three-toned feathers!
The multi-coloured feathers with golden tips are gorgeous. What a fun technique - I don't own any feather stamps, but I'm wondering if I could try it with some other images!! Off to check my stash!! Super inspiration!
Love your card and tribute! There's so many cool thing Cath brought to MFW and this is totally one of them!
