Case Study #170

I am so excited to be guest designing for Case Study Challenge this month!
And this month, we're changing things up a bit, so there isn't a Muse as such.
Instead, we're honouring Cath from the Moxie Fab World.
In case you missed the news, Cath stepped down from her position in the Paper Crafts magazine, as well as the host for MFW. December is a tribute to her influence on the paper crafting community,
and we chose four of her past posts that she shared within the "Oh My Moxie Fab!" column.

Here's this week's inspiration photo:

I was inspired by the colours, the polka dots on the cupcake
and the snowflakes to create my card.

I used a SSS Falling Snow stencil and some embossing paste to add some snowflakes to my aqua mist cardstock.
I layered this over some dark chocolate cardstock.
I diecut a banner from vellum using my PTI Tag Sale #5 die to create the flag and stitched it onto my card.
Onto this, I adhered my diecut Simon Says Merry Christmas sentiment.
The snowflake was created using some PTI vintage cream felt and the medium Fancy Flakes die.
A couple of buttons and some twine finish it off.

Be sure to visit the Case Study Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team created
for the challenge and to play along.

Let It Snow.

Thanks for looking!

Oh my, your card is so beautiful Leigh! The inspiration looked so familiar to me and I finally remembered this was a photo we used for a team challenge I'm on, how fun!

I am so impressed at all the little details, the stitching and the glitter, the snow, the buttons, yet it is still CAS! :)
