We send out photo cards every year..... it's a tradition we started when Austin was a baby.
Usually, I just design a card in Picasa, add a greeting and have 100 or so printed as
4x6 photos and send them out.
Well, this year, I decided that I would make my photo cards instead.
How much more fun to add some patterned paper and card stock to them!
Here's the card I made....
We took the photo in our backyard with the timer on my camera.
The dog is Lucy. She's not ours, but we watched her several times for friends this year and I thought it would be funny to take a photo with her and send it to her owners, and let them think that we sent this card out to everyone.
Well, when I was going through the photos we took that day, this was the best one!
So I contacted her owners and asked if it was okay if we included their dog as an honorary family member. ;)
The patterned paper is American Crafts Amy Tangerine.
I was able to score 11 sheets of it at one of our LSS that's closing.
The "joy" is a One Liner die from Papertrey ink.
